Benches

Vases are an attractive addition to any granite headstone, monument or marker, and come in granite, marble and bronze.  Vases can be incorporated into the monument or marker, or can be installed as a  separate, stand-alone piece with a granite base.

Benches

Benches

Granite benches can be placed along with a monument or marker to provide visitors to the cemetery with a place for quiet reflection, or can be set as a stand-alone monument. Benches provide wonderful opportunities for engraving text and images on the many suitable  surfaces of the bench.

Porcelain Pictures

Porcelain pictures come in a variety of sizes and shapes including the traditional oval, rectangular, and round shapes along with heart shaped images. The pictures are now done mainly in color, although black and white, and sepia tones are still available.

The pictures are digitized, placed on porcelain shapes, and then baked at 1600 degrees so the image will not fade. Porcelain products can also be mounted on mausoleum doors, benches, cremation urns, and columbariums.

Mausoleums

Mausoleums that will last for eternity require special expertise. A mausoleum is a building that houses our loved ones above ground. There are three main types  of mausoleums in a cemetery:

Indoor (A shared space where the crypts are located indoors);

Garden/outdoor (A shared space where the crypts are located outdoors); and

Private mausoleums (Private spaces, where the crypts can be located indoors or outdoors).

Types Of Mausoleum Crypts

There are a number of different types and configurations of crypts available. The most common include:

Single crypts: Single crypts are the most common type of crypt in a mausoleum. Single crypts contain the remains of one person in a casket.

Side-by-side crypts:  Side-by-side crypts are designed for two people. The caskets are  positioned next to each other horizontally, and may each have its own  engraved marker or the crypts may share a single large marker.

Companion crypts or end-to-end crypts:  Companion crypts are designed for two people, but only take the space  of a single crypt. The caskets are lined up “end-to-end” and a single  marker is shared. Companion crypts are the mausoleum equivalent of  “double depth.”

Even if you choose cremation you should have a monument to your life on earth.

An alternative to cremation scattering and earthen burial, people can now have the ashes placed in a convenient location or a place with special meaning, with the cremated remains of their loved ones  placed in a cremation urn protected by a permanent memorial or monument.

Cremation Monuments, Cremation headstones, columbarium, niches or memorials are simply any kind of structure that is specially designed to hold one or more cremation urns for ashes. Some cremation monuments are hollow and have a panel that can be removed for cremation urn placement.

Cremation monuments come in many shapes and sizes. Some are truly monuments while other are designed to blend into nature, such as a natural boulder that has been hollowed to contain the cremated remains or a cremation urn.

Cremation monuments that are shared by several families with multiple niches are called a columbarium.

What is an Epitaph?

Cremation Memorials, Monuments and Creation Urns

A headstone quote or headstone saying inscribed on a memorial, called an epitaph, serves as an everlasting tribute to a departed loved one which is inscribed or engraved on their monument, headstone, memorial plaque, gravestone, tombstone or cemetery marker.

There is something special to say about  everyone but summarizing a life in just a few words can be very difficult. Often a familiar biblical verse, Like Mrs. King's or classical quotation is an ideal way to preserve an enduring memory like Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. as shown in the above photo.

King’s famous "I have a dream" speech has inspired so many. It's only fitting that  words he spoke during that speech forever are displayed on his Crypt;

"Free at last. Free at last. Thank God Almighty I’m Free At Last.”
